About The Farm

Pemberton Valley Farms is a 3rd-generation vegetable farm that has been producing delicious fresh veggies since the 1950's. The land was purchased by Tony and Nel Van Loon (Marty's parents) after it was logged and it took almost 10 years until the first crop of potatoes came to be.

Marty and Andrea bought the farm in 1991 and grew mostly Seed Potatoes, but also Carrots & Beets as well as raising cattle. They also hosted beautiful weddings and other events. Matthew, Trevor and Erica, their 3 children, became involved in the farm activities since a very young age. Matthew and Trevor started Goat Mountain Produce, a stand that offered mixed-veggies in 2006. Years later, Erica took it over until it closed in 2017 (The Stand will RE-open in Summer 2023- Stay tuned!) and started making regular deliveries to Pemberton. In 2022, after 11 years of working in the mining industry, Matthew and his wife Cristina moved from the Yukon to Pemberton in order to start farming and learn from Marty and Andrea.

As a family, we strive to make the most of everything nature has to offer. Our products are direct from the field, grown with love in the most environmentally friendly way possible, so you can be sure you are buying the best quality produce. We also host beautiful outdoor weddings and events. In the future, we hope to host a bunch of fun activities that take place throughout the year, including family days and cross-country ski tracks.
